Design and oversight of multi-sector assessments, baselines and monitoring exercises that generate evidence for programme design and adaptation.

Work includes:

  • Development of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, sampling strategies and data collection instruments. 

  • Oversight of collection, data cleaning, validation and structured analysis workflows

  • Production of concise analytical reports tailored to operational decision-makers

Digital tools may include ODK, KoboToolbox, alongside structured spreadsheet and statistical platforms.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Systems

Development and refinement of MEL frameworks that strengthen performance tracking and adaptive management across programmes.

Support may include:

  • Results framework and indicator development

  • Support to develop MEL Frameworks and both progress and indicator tracking tools at start-up. 

  • Development of monitoring tools and dashboards

  • Support to development of practical learning loops / after action reviews for client teams.

Strategy Reviews & Programme Portfolio Analysis:

Support to organisations undertaking strategic reviews, country strategy development and portfolio repositioning in changing funding environments. Work may include:

  • Portfolio performance analysis and programme mapping

  • Review of existing strategies, theories of change and programme results

  • Stakeholder consultation and synthesis of operational learning

  • Identification of strategic priorities and programme focus areas

  • Development of analytical briefs to inform organisational decision-making

GIS Mapping & Conflict Analysis

Use of geospatial and conflict datasets to support programme targeting, risk analysis and strategic planning.

Capabilities include:

  • Development of static and interactive maps using ArcGIS Online and QGIS

  • Integration of geo-referenced programme and secondary data

  • Analysis of conflict, displacement and service-access patterns

  • Translation of spatial analysis into practical programme targeting and risk analysis.

  • ACLED data incorporated where relevant to support context analysis and risk assessment.
